Lessons from Summer Camp
My First Community Offering - The Pursuers of More
I love summer camp.
Absolutely love it. Probably the best years of my life were at camp (don’t tell my family that).
I think you can have the most formative experiences of your life at camp. You make new friends, you discover new interests - you feel real independence without the gazing eyes of your parents. Camp truly is a magical thing.
And, the other thing that is magical about it is the community that arises out of the coming together of a bunch of kids (and a few adults) in a shared place.
What I mean by community is the shared sense of purpose, experience and meaning that can happen when a bunch of like-minded folks get together to work on common projects, share their own challenges amongst themselves, and utilize the individual and collective wisdom present to do greater things - in work and in life.
That’s what led me to create “Pursuers of More”.
Here is what we’ll do together in Pursuers of More:
• Bi-weekly open conversations, facilitated discussion, live group coaching, reflection
• An async space for intersession talk/accountability
• Homework (the good kind)
• A discounted 1:1 add-on if you want to go deeper
• Paid, with flexibility on pricing. I don’t want money to be the reason the right person stays out.
But above all, this will be about coming together to zone in on who you are, what you’re good at, how you’re moving - and, to where.
Today, 6/10 spots are full. It’s actually filling up, with exactly the kind of people I hoped would raise their hands.
Professionals who are excellent at what they do and quietly itching to do something 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 with it.
People who are done pretending the question isn’t there.
And the best/strange part is: nobody’s in crisis.
Meaning: things are going well and something is still missing.
Which tells me two things:
people want this
you can put ideas out there sometimes and they just land - and you can really have no idea why.
If you’ve felt that and couldn’t quite name it, then maybe - just maybe - this is for you.
So yeah, that’s it.
There are a few seats left. If you think one of those is yours - click below to apply.
Still unsure? Take the Pursuers Assessment to see if it’s the right time for you.
And, if you think this will resonate with someone you know, please - share it.
